TOPIC:   Mainland China’s litigation procedure – effect of reforms on current practice

What is the effect of recent changes on China’s judicial system? Such changes include those that have been decided through the Third Plenum, through Supreme Court pronouncements and through recent cases. Experts will discuss the reforms and their effect on areas including pre-trial mediation, preservation orders and judgment & enforcement, before opening to Q&A.

SPEAKERS: Frank Li, Susan Finder and Jonathan Ross (moderator)

Frank is a dispute resolution partner at Fangda who specialises in commercial litigation and arbitration. Susan is a legal analyst at Practical Law China and is on the panel of arbitrators of the Shenzhen Court of International Arbitration and CIETAC. Jonathan is a general counsel of UTAC, as well as being on the HKCCA committee.
