TOPIC:  Approvals and Capital Requirements in China: Recent Developments and their Impact on Foreign Investors

This is a one-hour seminar provided for in-house counsel to better understand recent developments in Chinese law and practice relating to changes in approval processes for foreign invested enterprises, statutory capital requirements following amendments to China’s Companies Law, capital extraction by way of reduction of capital and the impact of such developments on foreign investors.

SPEAKER:  Stuart Valentine, International Counsel, Debevoise & Plimpton LLP.

Stuart is an English and Hong Kong qualified lawyer who has been working in Beijing and Hong Kong since the 1980’s advising foreign companies entering and doing business in those markets.
