SPEAKER: Peter Chow
Peter Chow is a Partner of Squire Patton Boggs and he leads the firm’s International Dispute Resolution/Arbitration practice in Asia Pacific. He handles disputes related to oil and gas, energy and natural resources, infrastructure and construction projects, international trade and general commerce. Peter has acted as counsel in numerous cases, including those involving ICC, HKIAC, CIETAC, SIAC and UNCITRAL arbitral rules. He has helped many clients to achieve expeditious resolution of disputes using alternative dispute resolution techniques.
Peter is a Chartered Arbitrator. He is on the panels of arbitrators in the U.K., Australia, mainland China, Malaysia and Hong Kong. He has been appointed as an arbitrator in commercial and maritime cases. He is the Vice-President of the Hong Kong Institute of Arbitrators and a Vice-Chair of the IPBA Energy & Resources Committee. Mr. Chow is a contributing author of several authoritative books on arbitration and litigation and is on the editorial board of Lexis Nexis Practical Guidance.
Peter has been recognized by The Legal 500 Asia Pacific in the area of dispute resolution, as a “Litigation Star” by Benchmark Litigation Asia-Pacific and by Euromoney Guide to the World’s Leading Experts in Commercial Arbitration.
