PwC are delighted to invite you to a presentation and demonstration of Game of Threats™. Game of Threats™ is PwC’s proprietary, interactive game that simulates a cyber breach from the perspectives of both a threat actor and the leadership of a company. Game of Threats™ simulates the experience that executives must go through in the midst of a cyber-breach. Using scenario based insights, players are educated on cybersecurity issues and threats that are a critical component of today’s corporate landscape from a variety of perspectives.

During the session PwC’s cybersecurity experts coach players through realistic cyber attack scenario to teach players about what they can do to better prepare, respond, and remediate an attack and familiarizes them with different types of threat actors and their preferred methodologies. Players walk away with a better understanding of the steps they need to take to better secure their companies.

Key takeaways from the session which are particularly relevant to In-house Counsel include:

1. Identify Threat Actors targeting their company, and the attack strategies they use (How does a criminal attack differ from a hacker attack?)
   
2. Explore how secure their company is against these Threat Actors (What is their level of risk for a breach? How quickly would they detect a breach?)
   
3. Recognize the reputational, financial and regulatory impacts of cyber attacks and breach response. (At what stage should Legal be involved, and which response is the right one for the business environment?)
   
4. Understand the potential ramifications and remediation options after an attack (How quickly would they be able to respond to a breach? How can Legal be engaged early on?)

SPEAKERS: Megan Haas, Partner; John Donker, Partner

Megan Haas, Partner in Forensic Services in PwC's Consulting practice. 

She has developed a focus on Cyber risks and leads our PwC Cyber Security & Privacy Consulting practice for Hong Kong & China, working with clients on areas such as threat intelligence, incident & crisis management and identity & access management. Megan has over 27 years experience helping organisations improve their control environments through the detection of weaknesses and vulnerabilities, the design and operation of controls, and the management of risk.

John Donker, Partner, Leader of PricewaterhouseCoopers’ Investigations and Forensic Services practice in China, Hong Kong and in the Asia Pacific Region and member of the firms Global Forensic Services Leadership team.

His work involves carrying out forensic fact finding investigations, providing support to clients and their legal advisors involved in dispute or potential dispute situations and advising clients in the areas of regulatory remediation , compliance and fraud/corruption risk mitigation. John has over 28 years professional experience and has been based in Hong Kong since 1992. He has extensive experience in complex financial investigations, compliance remediation and litigation support including arbitration, major commercial litigation and criminal fraud cases across the Asia Pacific Region. In relation to this investigations work John has been retained by private clients, non executive independent committees and regulatory bodies including the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission. In recent years he has been heavily involved in a large number of investigations into allegations of financial statement manipulation in listed companies.
