The HKCCA Executive Committee invites you to participate in a conversation about the legal issues surrounding the NPCSC interpretation. We are living on the unknown interface of a common law system and a civil law system that has not been seen before. The constitutional issues that Hong Kong is facing are going to continue for some time as the ramifications of the NPCSC interpretation are uncertain and long lasting. Both the Bar Council and the Law Society have made statements. On this issue, over 2000 lawyers turned out for the silent march. HKCCA believes that this is a topical issue that our members would be highly interested in.
