TOPIC: Digital Disruption and the legal landscape

Technology and the digital world heavily impact all aspects of our business and social lives. We live and work in an age where the adoption of technology is a must in order to merely keep up with the pack, let alone stay ahead. With this comes a set of legal challenges that businesses across all industries need to face, and adapt to, in order to survive.

Digital disruption through the advent of the Internet of Things, Uberization, FinTech, Artificial Intelligence and the cloud, to name but a few, have all impacted the legal landscape from the way traditional corporate deals are transacted and funded, through the protection and exploitation of IP, to data flows and retention as well as how people are now employed.
