Paul leads Baker McKenzie's Arbitration Practice in Greater China. He handles a broad range of disputes related to corporate and commercial transactions, energy, mining and resources, infrastructure and construction, offshore and marine, and telecommunications. Paul has been recognised as a leading practitioner by Who's Who Legal, Chambers Asia Pacific, Euromoney's Guide to the World's Leading Experts in Commercial Arbitration, Euromoney's Guide to the World's Leading Construction Lawyers, and Benchmark Asia Pacific as a "Disputes Star".
Prior to joining Baker McKenzie, he jointly led a top-tier global law firm's international arbitration practice in Southeast Asia. He had also spent 9 years in HK previously in an earlier stint with another leading international firm. Paul is regularly appointed as arbitrator. He is Chartered Arbitrator and he is listed on the Presidential Panel of Arbitrators of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and he serves on the panels of many leading arbitral institutions.

Philipp Hanusch, Senior Associate, Hong Kong, Baker McKenzie
Philipp's practice focuses on international commercial arbitration. Before joining Baker McKenzie in February 2015, he worked as an associate for a major Hong Kong law firm. Prior to that, he worked for a leading Austrian law firm in Vienna. In 2011, he was appointed legal counsel to the Austrian Consulate in Hong Kong.
Philipp has represented parties in international arbitration proceedings under the rules of Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre (HKIAC), International Chamber of Commerce (ICC), China International Economic Trade Arbitration Commission (CIETAC), Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC), and International Center for Dispute Resolution (ICDR), and under the UNCITRAL Arbitration Rules. Philipp has been appointed twice as sole arbitrator in ICC arbitration proceedings (under the 1998 and 2012 ICC Rules) with seat in Hong Kong.

Haifeng has represented more than a hundred domestic and foreign companies, advising on disputes resolution matters. His clients include LG, GE, Sinochem, HSBC, Schneider, Siemens, Louis Dreyfus, Air Products and other renowned enterprises in China and abroad. The arbitration cases he has handled spread across major international arbitration institutions around the globe, such as the ICC International Court of Arbitration, HKIAC, SIAC, CIETAC, and BAC. Li has handled disputes in the areas of sales & purchases, distributions, technology & trademark licenses, construction, M&As, shareholder and corporate governance disputes, finance, hybrid business models and employment.
Before joining Baker McKenzie FenXun, Haifeng served for over twenty years as General Counsel of China National Agrochemical Corp. (CNAC) , lawyer of Global Law Office, director of the China Council for the Promotion of International Trade (CCPIT, the supervisory body of CIETAC), and Deputy Secretary General of ICC CHINA, the China chapter of ICC., successively , and has established extensive and close connections in business sectors, with government agencies and international institutions.
