The Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Hong Kong and Skadden are delighted to invite you to this unique event which will take place on November 13th from 8:30-10:00 AM at the Hong Kong offices of Skadden. Mr. Tellman recently authored the book "Building an Outstanding Legal Team: Battle-Tested Strategies from a General Counsel" (June 2017) and will discuss the role of the modern general counsel (GC) that has become one of the most complex, intense and challenging in the corporate world. GCs today must lead, unify and inspire diverse groups of people across the globe with subtlety and diplomacy. This session with Mr. Tellman will offer you practical, thoughtful and innovative advice on how to build and run an outstanding legal team in an age of disruption.



Bjarne P. Tellmann is General Counsel and Chief Legal Officer of Pearson PLC, a FTSE 100 company and the world's leading education business. At Pearson, Bjarne leads 170 professionals across six continents. He previously held various positions in Europe, Asia and the United States with The Coca-Cola Company, most recently as Associate General Counsel. He has also held positions at Kimberly-Clark and the law firms of Sullivan & Cromwell and White & Case. He is the author of the "Career Path" column in the ACC Docket, the award-winning journal of the Association of Corporate Counsel.
