The Executive Committee of ACC Hong Kong invites you to the following presentation, hosted by Marsh (Hong Kong) Limited.

TOPIC: Building a Shield for Cyber Risk Management Strategy - A Cyber Insurance Perspective

All organisations are at risk from cyber criminals and each needs to take steps to protect its critical data and funds.  It is important to understand the differences between a Cyber policy and a Computer Crime policy, as well as the protection each offers.

Simply put, a Cyber policy insures for the loss of intangible property that cyber criminals use to perpetuate fraud and a Computer Crime policy protects an organisation’s loss of tangible property, including money and securities, resulting from theft of employees and other third parties.

While it seems like a clear distinction, this is not always the case.  With the continued evolution of Cyber policies, the clear delineation of Cyber = Intangible and Computer Crime = Tangible is becoming blurred.  We certainly expect additional changes and overlaps in these two policies in the near future.

Food and drinks will be provided. There are no CPD points available for this event.
