TOPIC: Legal Operations – the what, why and how!

The world is being enabled by invisible technology.  From AI in our smart phones to design thinking, invisible technology and seamless operations make complicated  interactions intuitive and require no training.  This is the power of technology.  It enables us to create processes that are so efficient, they are completed without any recognition of how they are accomplished or how difficult they are.

Legal services are knowledge-based services and the way lawyers work is evolving.  A legal department can and should have seamless operations…

Cue:  Legal Operations!

Legal Operations is the discipline focused on evolving the practice of law to match modern expectations and modern business models.  Legal Operations is a relatively new term for the legal world, but it is becoming a very real and necessary part of legal functions.  The dream of having an efficient and tech enabled legal department is now a reality…. Imagine!

KorumLegal and HKIAC invite you to hear from four General Counsel, who will talk about how legal operations are being adopted and leveraged in Hong Kong, to drive innovation, efficiency and cost savings in leading legal departments.
