The ACC HONG KONG’s Executive Committee invites you to the following presentation, hosted by Deminor Recovery Services
Speaker : Olivia de Patoul
Olivia de Patoul is senior legal counsel at Deminor Recovery Services, a company that has been assisting for more than 25 years leading institutional investors in recovery actions worldwide. With offices in Europe, the US and Asia, Deminor Recovery Services has originated, managed and funded 30 recovery cases in 12 jurisdictions (including in Asia) on behalf of 800+ institutional investors. 83,33% of the cases led to a positive recovery for the investors represented by Deminor Recovery Services. Our clients are leading asset managers, pension funds and sovereign wealth funds who operate on a global basis.
Since the opening of the Hong Kong office of Deminor Recovery Services last year, Olivia has engaged with the local investors’ community who was positively reactive about investment recovery opportunities. We are organizing an event with the HK ACC to inform the Hong Kong investors’ community of investment recovery opportunities, including in Asia where many jurisdictions provide a legal environment suited for this type of recovery actions.
Whether you are an institutional investor or an intermediary, it is part of your fiduciary duties to recovery the losses that you or your client have suffered as a result of a fraud, misleading information or mismanagement, provided there is a viable cause of legal action to do so. By funding court actions and protecting our clients from adverse party costs, we transform their legal claims into tangible assets.
The objective of the lunch seminar is to give you an overview of what is investment recovery and how to proceed to recover losses suffered following a fraud, misleading information or mismanagement and restore value for your company or your clients.
