Environmental, Social and Governance (ESG), a three-letter acronym, has gained prominence over the past few years. Some see this as an exercise to compile additional corporate disclosures that are non-financial alongside with the already laborious process of traditional financial reporting, while others see this as a force to achieve the common good.

During the seminar, Alan will cover the following topics:

  1. Purpose of ESG and its link to corporate purpose and sustainability;
  2. Why there is an increasing demand for ESG reporting, especially in the light of the current COVID-19 crisis; and
  3. The consequences for corporations if it fails to report on ESG performance correctly.
