The ACC Hong Kong (formerly HKCCA) is managed by the Board of Directors, which comprise voluntary representatives from the corporate counsel community, who are elected for three year terms at the ACC Hong Kong's annual general meeting. The Board meets regularly to plan and organise ongoing events, seminars and conferences for its members and to further the ACC Hong Kong’s objectives.

Sandra Wu, President

Sandra has served on the ACC Hong Kong Board of Directors since 2017 as Treasurer and was elected President in 2019. Sandra was the former Head of Legal & Compliance and Chief Compliance Officer for Mercer Investments (HK) Limited, where she looked after the legal, regulatory and compliance needs of the investment management and advisory business units

During her private practice career, Sandra worked at Weil Gotshal & Manges specialising in Private Equity and Fund Formation, Kirkland & Ellis focusing on Corporate Law, Mergers & Acquisitions and Skadden Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom in Hong Kong. Outside of ACC, Sandra is a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Committee of the Dutch Chamber of Commerce and a Mentor at The Women's Foundation in Hong Kong. She is a frequent public speaker and thought leader on the topics of blockchain and its disruptive impact on legal & financial markets and the regulation of cryptocurrencies.

Sandra holds a BCom (double major in Finance and Accounting), LL.B (First Class Honours) from the University of Sydney. She is featured on the Dean's List of Excellence for Academic Performance and is also an International Golden Key Honorary Society Scholar. Sandra is admitted as a Solicitor of the High Court of Hong Kong and Barrister & Solicitor of the Supreme Court of New South Wales, Australia.

Sharyn Ch'ang, Vice President

Sharyn has served on the ACC Hong Kong Board of Directors since late 2012, and from 2017 as the association's first Vice President. She actively contributes to ACC HK's ongoing evolution in its delivery of services to members, has lead the development of the sponsorship program, curated a number of successful revenue-generating half-day ACC conferences with law firms and other third parties on a range of topics, promotes inter-association relationships and events to broaden the engagement of members with like-minded professionals, co-chaired the inaugural Membership Committee with its purpose to be a springboard for succession planning for potential future directors, and is founding co-chair of the Pro Bono Services Committee, which is breaking new ground in Hong Kong with regard to the involvement of in-house counsel in the pro bono sector.

In her day job, Sharyn is Global Counsel with PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) having previously been PwC's first Asia Regional Counsel, then based in Singapore. Prior to her move to Asia, Sharyn worked in Australia, including as a partner with Ernst & Young, and solicitor with Baker & McKenzie, and Gilbert & Tobin. Earlier experience also includes being IBM's first Australasian IP Counsel, and the founding National Director of IP for a government Education Department. Professional appointments include being a member of the Australian Government’s Advisory Council on Intellectual Property; Chair of the Licensing Executives Society (NSW); member of the Faculty of Law Advisory Committee for the University of Wollongong, and non-executive director of an innovative Australian software business.

Sharyn holds a BA, LL.B (Honours) from Macquarie University, LL.M from the University of New South Wales, and a graduate diploma from the Australian Institute of Company Directors. She is recognised in the Legal 500 China-Hong Kong GC Power List, and is the recipient of various industry awards and nominations, including being Asian Legal Business 2019 Hong Kong Inhouse Counsel of the Year finalist, and winner of the 2017 Asia Legal Awards Inhouse Counsel of Distinction award.

Eddie Bao, Treasurer

Eddie Bao is Senior Legal Counsel & Director at SS&C Technologies, a software and consulting services company focused primarily on the financial services industry. As Head of Legal APAC, Eddie has responsibility for all legal matters across Asia Pacific. This includes being an integral member of the senior management team in the region, negotiating customer contracts across SS&C’s many software clients and fund administration clients, Human Resources matters, compliance matters, data privacy, and anything and everything that can come across his desk.

Prior to working at SS&C Technologies, Eddie worked at Ciena as Corporate Counsel, APAC (based in Hong Kong), a telecommunications network hardware and software provider. He also has private practice experience working in the Technology Media Telecommunications team at Gilbert + Tobin in Melbourne and the Mergers and Acquisitions team at King & Wood Mallesons in Melbourne.

Eddie maintains a strong interest in the technology space sharing knowledge and experience between in house counsel across the industry. He is admitted to practice in Victoria, Australia and holds a Bachelor of Law (Hon) and Bachelor of Commerce from Monash University in Melbourne.

Davyd Wong, General Secretary

Davyd is an experienced commercial lawyer and trusted counsel with deep industry connections across the Asia Pacific region, having practiced as a solicitor in Australia and Hong Kong for over 15 years. He is currently general counsel and chief compliance officer at Star Anise Limited. Davyd is also the founder and director of the Hong Kong Centre for Pro Bono Service Ltd, a local charitable organisation serving the rights and interests of the most marginalised and impoverished in our community.

Davyd holds a Bachelor of Commerce and Bachelor of Laws from the University of New South Wales, Sydney (Dean's list) and a Masters of Laws from Hong Kong University (With distinction).

Carla Carlucci

Carla Carlucci is a technology counsel with 15 years’ experience as a public and private company General Counsel focusing on consumer electronics, software and digital payment transactions.

Currently, she is a Senior Legal Counsel at GEOX where she oversees legal and compliance matters for the APAC region.  Before that, Carla was a Legal Counsel at Ant Group covering EMEA. Carla is also the former General Counsel at Philips (LE Division) and Group General Counsel at P.C.H. International. She also serves on the Board of Directors of Atacana Group Inc. and the ACC Hong Kong.

Carla received her LL.B from the University of Toulouse in France and her LL.M (Hons) from Northwestern Pritzker School of Law US. She speaks English, French, Spanish and Italian.

Erika Evasdottir

Erika Evasdottir's role at Centrium Advisory Services Limited (CASL) is to act as in-house counsel and compliance officer, and often operations as well, all to ensure clients have the licensing, governance regimes and other procedures in place to allow the business to concentrate on what they do best. The goal is to promote the growth of the company and its ability to explore new products and markets quickly and efficiently without sacrificing internal controls. By bringing her experience in corporate and fund transactions to bear, Ms. Evasdottir also reviews investment opportunities and structures funds and downstream investments with an eye to avoiding regulatory, compliance and legal pitfalls. Ms. Evasdottir began her legal career in capital markets before becoming a private equity/M&A lawyer and eventually became General Counsel and Compliance Officer (Asia) of two US headquartered hedge funds. Ms. Evasdottir additionally teaches at CUHK, has a PhD from Harvard in anthropology and archaeology (China), a JD from Columbia, and is admitted in New York and Hong Kong. Her book is titled “Obedient Autonomy: Chinese Intellectuals and the Achievement of Orderly Life”.

Andrew Levy

Andrew Levy, Managing Director and Associate General Counsel (APAC), Accenture  leads a team responsible for overseeing significant litigation and arbitration throughout Asia and Australia, as well as resolving pre-litigation client disputes. He also serves as Country Legal Director for China. In addition, Andrew supports significant regulatory and compliance investigations throughout APAC and advises on government relations strategy, particularly focused on China.  Previously, Andrew led a global team at Accenture responsible for investigating allegations of compliance violations and employee misconduct, ranging from harassment to fraud and corruption. Prior to joining Accenture, Andrew was an attorney in the New York and Washington offices of Paul, Weiss, Rifkind, Wharton & Garrison LLP.  He took a leave from the firm from 2006-2009 to serve as deputy general counsel of the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.  Andrew holds a J.D. from Boston College Law School.  He is a member of the AmCham Law Committee.

Phillip Meyer

Phillip Meyer joined Oasis in 2007 and serves as General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer, and Co-Chief Operating Officer for the Oasis Group.  He is responsible for providing legal advice to the Oasis Group and managing its legal and regulatory affairs on a global basis, as well as managing all non-trading operations for the firm, including infrastructure, IT, business development and investor relations, and human resources.  Mr. Meyer received a B.A. in English from The University of Texas at Austin, graduating with high honors, and he received a J.D. from Cornell Law School, where he was Note Editor for the Cornell International Law Journal.  Mr. Meyer is a member of the New York State Bar, an Associate Member of the Hong Kong Law Society, and a member of the American Bar Association.  Mr. Meyer serves on the Board of Directors of the Association of Corporate Counsel (ACC) Hong Kong and as Co-Chair of its Financial Services Committee, is a member of the Alternatives Investment Management Association (AIMA) Hong Kong Executive Committee and serves as co-chair of its Regulatory Committee, and serves on the Sohn Hong Kong conference planning committee for the Karen Leung Foundation Ltd. charity.  Mr. Meyer was named to The Legal 500’s inaugural “GC Powerlist: China & Hong Kong” in 2017.  Mr. Meyer is a frequent speaker on topics related to regulatory compliance, financial services legal issues and trends, in-house legal department management, hedge fund operations and management, shareholder activism, and environmental, social and corporate governance (ESG) investing

Vincent Ng

Vincent Ng is the General Counsel at Klook, a Hong Kong-based travel platform. As the first lawyer at Klook, he established the legal and compliance function with eight professionals in a year. He and his team supported the rapid growth and localisation of Klook in Asia, Europe, Americas and Australia, and provided advice on two rounds of fundraising. This effort saw Klook achieving unicorn status during the same period.

Prior to joining Klook, Vincent has years of experience in hotel management transactions in Asia with Hyatt Hotels and Resorts. He is trained as a capital markets and M&A lawyer, having worked at Deutsche Bank’s in-house legal team and also the corporate departments of Allen & Overy and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer.

Vincent was awarded the Lee Shau Kee Scholarship to read BA Jurisprudence at the University of Oxford. He is admitted to practise in Hong Kong and England and Wales.

Andrew Olson

Andrew Olson is Legal Counsel of PRADA Asia Pacific Limited and is based in Hong Kong. He is responsible for the legal affairs of the PRADA group, one of the world's leading luxury brands, in the Asia Pacific region excluding Japan. This encompasses a wide range of work including both commercial and intellectual property matters.

Prior to joining PRADA, Mr. Olson was in private practice in Hong Kong for ten years, initially at Slaughter and May, and then at Wilkinson & Grist. During that period he handled a wide variety of commercial transactions including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, corporate finance and commercial contracts.

Mr. Olson graduated from Cambridge University in UK and holds an M.A. (Hons) Law degree. He is admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong and England and Wales.

Chi Wai Pang

Chi Wai is a Managing Director and Legal Counsel at Macquarie Capital, where he heads the legal team in Asia, covering principal investments across the region as well as private and public M&A. Chi Wai is also Regional General Counsel, Asia.

Prior to joining Macquarie in 2006, Chi Wai spent 10 years in private practice with Cameron McKenna, Allen & Overy, Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer and Norton Rose in London, Beijing and Hong Kong.  He graduated with a B.A. (Hons) in Law from the University of Durham, and also holds a Post-graduate Diploma in Mandarin Chinese from Thames Valley University and a Certificate in PRC Legal Studies from Peking University. 

Chi Wai is admitted as a solicitor in England and Wales and in Hong Kong, and speaks English, Cantonese and Mandarin.

Lin Shi

Lin served on the ACC Hong Kong Board of Directors since 2008 as Treasurer (2008 – 2015) and as President (2015 – 2019).  Lin believes that alliances are important to further expand the legal network for ACC Hong Kong.  In addition with forming an alliance with ACC, she has also organized joint events with FIDA, Bar Council and Women in Law Hong Kong.  Lin is also passionate about advocacy and formed a working group to respond to the Law Society’s proposed amendments to the Foreign Lawyer Registration Rules in 2018. Outside of ACC Hong Kong, Lin is the Head of IPO Vetting in the Listing Department of Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited. Ms. Shi joined the Listing Department in August 2013.

Prior to joining the HKEx, Lin was a Senior Vice President covering Investment Banking Legal and General Counsel of Greater China with Bank of America Merrill Lynch from 2007 – 2012. Before that, she worked at Allen & Overy in Hong Kong and New York and Fulbright & Jaworski (now Norton Rose Fulbright) in New York.

Lin is member of the New York state bar. She received her B.A. from Pomona College, cum laude, and her J.D. from New York University
