In-house counsel in Hong Kong had the opportunity to network with their peers and hear from some of Hong Kong’s legal industry experts at the Hong Kong 2017 In-house Legal Summit on 12^th September at Conrad Hong Kong. In-house counsel had the opportunity to hear from keynote speaker Solicitor General Wesley Wong SC talk about what in-house counsel may do to promote the rule of law. Together with other privacy experts, attendees also heard from ACC Hong Kong member and Executive Committee Director Beverly Chau, Asia Pacific Legal Counsel L’Oréal, speaking on cybersecurity and data protection. Joined by a panel of speakers, ACC Hong Kong member, Kevin Wilkey, Head of Legal – Asia, Metlife and ACC Hong Kong member--and former ACC Hong Kong Executive Committee Director--Kevin Brocklehurst, Head of Legal & Governance, Group Investments, AIA discussed the day-to-day challenges faced by in-house lawyers.
